Celebrating 30 Years!!
Founded in 1996, the club has been a cornerstone of the local community,
dedicated to preserving and showcasing the rich history of machinery in the
Callide and Dawson regions. Over the years, it has attracted enthusiasts and
collectors from all walks of life, united by a shared passion for vintage machinery
and engineering marvels.
As the milestone approaches, the club is planning a grand celebration to honor
three decades of dedication and camaraderie in conjunction with its annual Old
Wheels in Motion event being held in July 2026.
These celebrations will serve as an opportunity to reflect on the Club’s
achievements and envision its future. With an emphasis on engaging the younger
generation, the club hopes to inspire new members to carry on the legacy of
machinery preservation by fostering a sense of appreciation for the past.
The Callide Dawson Machinery Preservation Club aims to ensure that these
mechanical treasures continue to educate and delight for many years to come.
